A poem on pegasus.

The pegasus was a mystical creature,

That filled the earth with flair.

Such an innocent creature:

But alas,

It was hunted for its magic powers

That granted a single wish:

And the good-hearted declined by numbers,

Due to greedy humans.

At last one pegasus,one white pegasus remain,

And it fled to the Great Mountain,

Forced to leave by its mate

And never saw her again.

Missing its friends and family,

And there in the new home,

He could not be happy.

For he was the last of his kind,

Oh,what a melancholy mind.

His flair no longer mattered,

His magic no longer mattered

For his mind was shattered

And that could not be renewed.

He needed no food nor drink,

For his wings were not hungry

But alas!His heart was

And nothing could quench its thirst.

He could see the faces of his brothers,

And in sublime,the face of his mate

And his wings flapped uncautiously

But he did not know were to go,

For they were in divine sleep.

Whenever his memory stroke,

His deep blue eyes filled.

Whenever he heard the flapping of wings,

His heart elated.

But he could find no pegasus

O,what a teared mind.

For days he flew around,

With a shrill cry

That shook all of nature

His innocent mind did not know,

What would happen next.

And at last,

When he realize,

That his weeping made no change;

His mind was in the deepest pool,

And the pegasus had lost its flair.
